Our Team

Dr. Patricia McConnell

Dr. McConnell graduated from the University of Iowa in 1986 and moved to Wisconsin with her husband. She is a member of the American Dental Association and regularly participates in continuing education to stay current with new dental trends. Her mission is to put you at ease while providing you with comfortable dental care. She especially enjoys helping you enhance your smile, whether it is with veneers, crowns, or dentures.

Amanda - Dental Hygienist

Amanda first started working at Artistic Smiles Dentistry in 2005 as a Dental Assistant. She then furthered her education and graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene.

Amanda takes great pride in providing comfortable care for her patients and is dedicated to maintaining and improving their dental health.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, cooking and being with family and friends.

Kari- Dental Assistant and Clinic Coordinator

Kari has been a Dental Assistant with Dr. McConnell since September of 2005. Kari enjoys meeting and getting to know our patients, helping them to feel at home and answering any questions they may have. Kari enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and granddaughter.

Emily - Dental Hygienist

A graduate from the FVTC Dental Assisting program, and now a 2023 graduate of the FVTC Dental Hygiene program, Emily is our newest dental hygienist! She is originally from Prairie du Chein, and enjoys travel, hiking, and camping. When at home, she likes to bake and read biographies and memoirs.

Michelle - Dental Hygienist

Michelle joined our team in 2018 after practicing dental hygiene in the Valley for many years. A graduate of the Fox Valley Technical College Dental Hygiene program, she excels in providing general as well as periodontal services, sealants, fluoride, and in-office whitening for our patients.

In her free time, you may see Michelle riding one of her three horses, playing with her dogs, or making a home-made meal for her family, which includes her husband, three grown children, and their spouses/significant others. Michelle is a very friendly and welcoming member of our team!

Kristen - Dental Assistant

Kristen graduated from FVTC Dental Assisting program in 2020 and started working at Artistic Smiles right away. She has been a patient of Artistic Smiles since she was 4 years old! She says, “Dr. Pat made me feel so comfortable that I became passionate and intrigued in the dental industry.” She was born in Pensacola Beach, Florida, but went to school and graduated from Kimberly High School. She loves meeting new people, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her niece.

Jessica - Front Desk Coordinator

Jessica joined the Artistic Smiles team in 2020 after many years of experience in healthcare and business settings. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and you can often find her creating a new craft or watching the Packers! You will truly enjoy speaking with Jessica next time you call us.

Esmeralda - Dental Assistant

Esmeralda, who goes by Esme, is a 2021 graduate of the FVTC Dental Assisting program. She is originally from Houston, Texas but grew up in Appleton, where she graduated from North High School. In her free time, she enjoys going for walks, bike rides, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys making jewelry out of resin and pressed flowers.

Sandra - Patient Care Coordinator

Sandra, a Wisconsin native, attended FVTC for marketing and nursing. She comes to us with a background in healthcare and non-profit experience. She has one daughter with whom she enjoys spending her free time and checking out local coffee shops. Sandra also enjoys walking, doing Sudoku puzzles and trying new recipes.

Lisa - Patient Care Coordinator

Lisa graduated from NWTC with an associate degree in Healthcare Business Services. She joined the Artistic Smiles team in 2022. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and her 2-year-old Pug “Penny”. In her free time, Lisa loves to spend time up north with family and friends, reading and traveling.

Cheenyia - Dental Assistant

Cheenyia joined Artistic Smiles shortly after graduating from the Dental Assisting Program at FVTC in 2022. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, exploring new restaurants with friends, and visiting her hometown in the Twin Cities.
